Q1: How do I know if the payment transaction was successful?
You can check by visiting the Taishin Bank Portal for Tuition Payment. If your payment status reads ‘Already Paid’, then you know the transaction was successful.

Q2: How long does it usually take for my payment status to be changed to ‘Already Paid’
Every bank performs transactions on slightly different schedules. General timelines for payment methods are as follows:
Credit card online: 3-10 days
ATM or in person: 2-6 days
Agricultural Bank of Taiwan: 4-7 days
Q3: Why is it that I have already made two payments but my payment status hasn’t been changed to ‘Already Paid’?

Q4: I need to pay using several different payment forms.Can I just make all my payments into a single payment account?
No. Each payment account has been set up for a particular fee. If different fees are paid into one account, it will be difficult to figure out which portion of the payment is for which fee.
Q5: How do I use the ATM to pay?
If you pay online go to the Taishin E-government Payment Platform:

-> Enter the 14 digit payment account number (located on the left side of the second form of the Payment Receipt for Tuition and Fees)
-> Enter password (see ‘What is my password’ on the right)

If you want to use a machine:
Select ‘Payments’, and make sure there are no payment limits
At the bank: Enter the Taishin Bank code.(the bank will have a list of bank codes available))
Enter the 14 digit payment account number (on the left side of the second form of the Payment Receipt for Tuition and Fees)
Enter the amount shown on the receipt

** Make sure the transaction went through **
Q6: Is there anything to be aware of if I pay online with a credit card?
a. If you use a credit card to pay on an online platform, make sure that each step is done correctly.
b. Make sure the credit card is valid and that the transaction was authorized.
The following is the process that happens once you’ve paid:
-> The transaction is authorized (you can check with the bank that issued your credit card to find out if the transaction was authorized)
-> This information is sent to the payment platform
-> From the platform, this information is sent to Taishin Bank (For questions, please call the Taishin service hotline: 0800-023-123)
-> Taishin applies to the bank that issued your credit card for the tuition payment.
-> After Taishin receives the payment, your payment status at the Taishin Bank Tuition and Fee Payment Portal will read ‘Already Paid’
-> You can pay off your credit card
c. After paying, go to the Taishin Bank Tuition and Fees Payment Portal to make sure your payment status is correct. If there are any errors, please check that the transaction was authorized by your credit card provider, or contact our service hotline to see if the transaction was successful. If it wasn’t, you will have to repeat the payment process.

Q7: Can I pay in installments if I use a credit card?
Please contact your credit card provider to see if they provide this service.
Taishin Bank has released a Fu Jen Affinity Credit Card, which allows you to enjoy 6 payment periods interest free. For more information, please contact the Office of Public Affairs. (02)2905-2210
Q8: How do I use a credit card to pay online?
You can choose between the following two payment platforms:

-> Enter the 18 digit payment account number located at the bottom left of the second copy of the Payment Receipt for Tuition and Fees

Q11: If the transaction goes through twice, can I get a refund?
Of course. Make sure you follow the steps below:
Go to the Taishin Bank Tuition and Fees Payment Portalhttps://school.taishinbank.com.tw/ -> Make sure your payment status reads ‘Already Paid’
-> Double check with your credit card provider to see if your payment went through twice
-> Phone the responsible authority at the University to see if you made a double payment(please seeContact Us)
-> If the transaction occurred twice, you can go through the procedure to get reimbursed
Q12: I seem to have made an error. Can I get my money back?
This falls under your bank’s jurisdiction. Please ask your credit card provider.
Q13: Can I pay after the deadline?
Yes. Please see the information on the payment platform websites.
Q14: Do undergraduates extending their time limit for degree completion need to pay tuition and miscellaneous fees?
If you know you will be taking more than 9 credits, you can pay tuition and miscellaneous fees up front (this includes group insurance)
If you don’t know how many credits you’ll be taking, you can first pay group insurance (the Student Life Division is in charge of insurance). You can pay group insurance at the ATM located on the first floor of the Cardinal Yu Pin Administration Building, or you can print out the payment form and pay at Chunghwa Post Office or any banking institution.
Q15: If I would like to apply for fee reductions, tuition assistance or a student loan, where should I go?
